FAUP - Porto School of Architecture

The Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (FAUP), designed by Álvaro Siza Vieira and built between the mid-1980s and 1990s, is one of the most significant university complexes in contemporary Portuguese architecture. Composed of autonomous yet harmoniously connected volumes, FAUP reflects Siza’s poetic approach to light, proportions, and dialogue with the landscape, turning the campus into a true architectural laboratory.
