This project was born in collaboration with Shopyard and Braga 25 - Portuguese capital of culture 2025.
Montra em Habitação explores the intersection between the housing crisis and the uncertain future of first-generation shopping malls. Like the forums of ancient cities, shopping malls were conceived as spaces for social interaction and conviviality. However, their role in the urban fabric is increasingly being questioned.

The Shopyard headquarters was converted into the "home" of the P22 artistic collective . This disruptive gesture challenges traditional notions of dwelling, blurring the boundaries between public and private and exposing the strangeness in what is familiar to us. Here, the everyday is transfigured, becoming unexpected and, at times, disconcerting.
For 5 days, I documented the collective's daily life in their new home.
